Microsoft Word
The new Office 2010 has come up with not just enhancement in interface but brought along a lot of changes in terms of flexibility and usage. Normally in Office 2003, you would require a separate add-in to be installed for writing and publishing to blogs. In the latest version 2010, they have integrated the very option to blog right from your Office Word.
- Select new to create a new file
- Register and login to your blog site
- Write the blog, publish it

The best part about using MS Word for blogging is that its already a rich text editor and you can do wonders on the product itself that you may not do on the blog site itself. You can use the following in Microsoft Word
- Different text styles
- Text formatting
- Change indents
- Paste anything using the new options
- Insert tables, images, clip art, shapes, smart art, charts, Word art, Symbols etc easily
- Insert screenshots (new feature)

Microsoft Powerpoint
There is not much change in the functionality and usage, but the interface has almost changed drastically and creating a PPT has become more easy and fun. Since I am not here to provide tips on creating a PPT, i would like to highlight the few new things that are available in the new Powerpoint. There is no much additions in the product features except for the screenshot and few line items here and there. One important aspect i would like to highlight in the new version is the ability to publish a PPT as a WMV video.Awesome isn’t it? As far Microsoft Excel is concerned, many formulaes and some plug-ins have been introduced.
